Heyyy guysss like oh my goshh guyss me and my girlies got soooo wasted last night and we like needed some food like as soon as possible cause me and my girlies woke up so late. We drove up to Mexican food place that we look like cause we were feeling like super cha cha. We walk in and there's like nobody inside but then I look around and see two people working there. Me and my girlies order and I like order this cheesadilla that i can't remember the name cause I'm still like hungover. But it was like totally delicious and they also had this like total delicious waters that i can't like remember the names. Overall I'm like giving this place like a 4 out of 5, but only cause like out orders didn't all come out together and kinda like killed our mood. Otha then that 4 stars xoxo.
Okay- before you get all huffy about 4 stars for a chain Mexican food joint- let me start off by saying, the bar was low. I literally was craving a taco on my way out of El Cajon and decided to stop by the first drive through on my way out- Santanas on Main Street it was- easy access from the road. I ordered the TJ style Adobada tacos- I've had tacos El Gordo plenty of times and nothing compares. But when I took the tacos out of its tin foil wrapped plate- I was thoroughly impressed-but the best part was the flavor! It got all points the crispy adobada the guys and salsa the onions and cilantro....I was so happy I stopped there and I cannot vouch for anything else on the menu because that was literally my first experience at Santana s but not my last! I hope you try it!!
Out of all places I've been to for pollo asada fries, Santana's has the best I've ever tried hands down. Friendly staff and close to work, my go to place Monday-Friday while at work.
